Missouri Baptist Convention
The Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) is a network of nearly 2,000 Southern Baptist churches whose mission is to serve together to grow Great Commission churches. The state missionaries in the MBC office in Jefferson City support Missouri Baptists through eight ministry teams. Dr. John Yeats serves as executive director. MBC’s vision is to make Great Commission disciples, in cooperating Great Commission churches, transforming communities with the gospel.

Defending the Christian Faith
Welcome to the Christian apologetics ministry of the Missouri Baptist Convention. Apologetics may be defined simply as a reasonable defense of the Christian faith, and we’re here to help you and your fellow church members become better equipped to share the message of Christ with others. As the apostle Peter writes, followers of Jesus should always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks us for a reason for the hope that is in us, and to do so with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15-16).

You also may sign up for a free monthly e-newsletter and order popular books produced by the MBC that many churches are using, including The Apologist’s Tool Kit; What Everyone Should Know About the Afterlife; and What Every Christian Should Know About The Trinity.
